Canaletto's paintings were vistas of Venice's romantic canals, piazzas and villas. The city of carnivals and romantic adventures was also a major center for music and composition, featuring several of the Baroque era's greatest composers. The orchestra will present the music of Claudio Monteverdi, Tomasso Albinoni, Benedetto Marcello and Antonio Vivaldi
